The strong connection between Nativity Parish and School is most evident in our shared celebrations of the Sacraments and other rituals of the Church. We come together to pray and worship as a community of faith on a regular basis. We enjoy celebrating Mass with our parishioners each week and at our monthly special all-school liturgies. We have established some beautiful traditions in our liturgies each year:
Preschool: Perpetual Adoration one day per month
Kindergarten: Thanksgiving Paraliturgy & Mother’s Day Paraliturgy
First Grade: Christmas Paraliturgy
Second Grade: Bread Paraliturgy (in anticipation of First Communion)
Third Grade: Grandparent’s Liturgy
Fourth & Fifth Grade: Special Grade Level Liturgies
All School Liturgies
Each year we come together as a school community to celebrate Mass and other special prayer experiences including:
- Opening of the School Year
- All Saints Day
- Thanksgiving
- Immaculate Conception
- Christmas
- Catholic School's Week
- Ash Wednesday
- Easter Liturgy
- End of the School Year
We also pray together:
- The rosary in honor of Mary in October and May
- Stations of the Cross during Lent
Our students also have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation during Advent and Lent each year.
