One of the main objectives for all students at Nativity is to develop life-long readers. The Great Books program, for students in grades 2-8, supports that mission by providing an opportunity to students interested in challenging themselves with the written word. This program is dependent on parent volunteers who are willing to lead a small group discussion about one short story a week. The students in each group are responsible for preparing for the group discussion by reading over the piece to be discussed and offering their opinions and insights into the piece being evaluated.
