Art Adventure

Nativity School has participated in the Art Adventure Program offered through the Minneapolis Institute of Art for several years. The objective of this program is to introduce our students to, and help them develop an appreciation for, quality works of art found in the Institute. The program's success is dependent upon parent volunteers who are trained at the Institute each fall. Once trained, the parent leaders present visual images of various works to the students in each classroom. The students in grades K-5 have the opportunity to share their own insights as well as learn about the artist's background and the meaning behind each piece.
